We’ve known each other for a good number of years now. We’ve been through our fair share of good and bad together. I thank you for the days when I was down with the troubles of life. It was you that gave me the boost of confidence to continue to stand strong against the unforgiving eyes of others. In you I have come to place unfailing faith in, and do not see myself able to part ways with.

I apologize for not providing you with the perfect canvas these recent days. The lack of sleep, stress and booze have definitely taken it’s toll on my first skin. Yet I beg that you continue to stand by my side, just like how you have for so many years, and be my mask and shield through this confusing stage that I am experiencing.

As a token of appreciation for all that you have done for me, I have made my next appointment with my dermatologist. Hope this is reassuring news to you.
